When you create an account, we collect your email address, username, and password (stored securely via Supabase authentication). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google. We also collect content you voluntarily post, including comments, insights, and votes.
We use your information to provide and improve the Service, including displaying your profile and content, sending notifications about replies and mentions, and analyzing usage patterns to improve the platform. We use Vercel Analytics for anonymous page view tracking.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS). Authentication data is managed by Supabase Auth. We do not store payment information as PolyThoughts does not process any financial transactions.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with service providers that help operate the platform (Supabase for database, Vercel for hosting, Resend for email notifications). Your public profile and posted content are visible to other users and may be indexed by search engines.
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. Vercel Analytics does not use cookies and collects only anonymous, aggregated data.
You may update or delete your account and associated content at any time. To request deletion of your data, contact us through the platform or our social media channels.
The Service may contain links to third-party websites (Polymarket, Kalshi, news sources). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites.
